Why we undergo external assessment
In occupational safety, regular checks are part of everyday life. Standards change, requirements evolve, and processes must be regularly questioned.
We apply exactly this standard to our corporate processes as well.
An external assessment helps to view one's own approach from an independent perspective and to make potential improvements visible. An objective external view is particularly valuable for topics such as sustainability management, supplier management, and responsible procurement.
The decision for an independent assessment was therefore a conscious step for us: We want to provide our customers with comprehensible information about how we are developing our company.

EcoVadis is an internationally established platform for assessing companies' sustainability management.

The assessment is based on submitted evidence, internal policies, processes, and documentation.
Important: EcoVadis assesses a company's sustainability management. It is not a product certification and not an assessment of individual PPE products.
Our result: 64 out of 100 points
AAV GmbH was assessed by EcoVadis and achieved 64 out of 100 points in the EcoVadis Sustainability Rating.
The result shows that the measures and evidence submitted by us were positively evaluated within the scope of the EcoVadis assessment.
At the same time, we do not see the assessment as a conclusion, but as guidance for further development. As with occupational safety, the same applies here: improvements are achieved through regular review and consistent further development.
