On the last day of my field internship at Allprotec®, Jürgen and I prepared early in the morning to tackle our tasks. We started punctually at 7:45 a.m., entered orders and loaded the vehicle for our customer appointment. For today, Jürgen had chosen a special customer – a former, long-standing customer of AAV GmbH.
During the trip to the customer, Jürgen clarified questions from colleagues. Open communication and the exchange of information within the team are important, because it keeps you efficient and productive, even on the go.

At the customer meeting, it turned out that the contact person had a clear idea of the price. But Jürgen was not discouraged and convinced the contact persons of our convincing price-performance ratio. A great opportunity to convince the customer of our competitiveness and quality.
We also had the opportunity to present our new safety shoes. The customer's employees show great interest in Lemaitre's lightweight and flexible shoes. They were impressed with the benefits and planned to include them in the next order. A great opportunity to show the large product portfolio and offer innovative solutions.

After the successful customer meeting, we encountered the usual traffic on the way to Hanover. Jürgen remained calm and encouraged me to do other tasks during the journey. He made numerous phone calls and worked through open tasks. It was impressive how he kept track of things. I learned such skills from him and appreciated working with an experienced mentor.
It was a long drive to Hanover, but finally we arrived at the AAV. Jürgen's calmness in stressful situations and his talent for concentrating on several things at the same time impressed me.
I am grateful for this experience. I got to know a lot of new people, situations and challenges, put them behind me and mastered them. Now I am already looking forward to the last two days at Allprotec®, which I will spend at the company's headquarters.
