Regular certification according to ISO 9001:2015 is not a mandatory date for us – but a confirmation of daily practice, with a constant focus on customer satisfaction, trust, reliability and progress.
What is behind ISO 9001:2015?
ISO 9001:2015 is the internationally recognized standard for quality management systems (QMS). A valid certificate confirms that the company works with structured, monitored and continuously optimised processes – for the benefit of customers, suppliers and employees.
The standard is based on four central principles:
- Process orientation: Processes are comprehensibly defined, documented and subject to continuous improvement.
- Customer orientation: The focus is on customer requirements and expectations.
- Risk-based approach: Opportunities and risks are systematically assessed – for better decisions.
- Continuous improvement: Regular internal audits and external audits keep the quality level consistently high.
Why do you get recertified every year?
An ISO certificate is not a permanent stamp. The validity is checked annually by means of surveillance audits. A comprehensive recertification audit follows every three years. This is not only a formal condition of the standard – it is also a signal to the outside world: We are consistently developing our quality management.
Since 2016, AAV GmbH has been certified according to ISO 9001:2015, and in 2025 we successfully completed the entire certification process with DEKRA Certification GmbH for the fourth time.
