A good chemical protective glove often has to combine several properties. First and foremost, of course, is resistance to certain chemicals. For fine work, excellent tactile sensitivity is required. The glove is supposed to be skin-friendly and comfortable to wear.
The Allprotec Protexi glove combines these requirements.
Chemical Protective Glove Protexi
Protexi consists of a synthetic elastomer. The glove material does not contain any extractable proteins (unlike natural latex), so that a latex allergy can be ruled out. Dermatological tests have proven this. Due to its skin-friendliness, the glove is also used in environments with less aggressive chemicals, e.g. in the household and for cleaning work.
Protexi passes test according to EN 374-3
However, it is also suitable against many chemicals in contaminated areas, has passed the test according to EN 374-3 and thus achieves the ability to be marked with the Erlenmeyer flask. The test according to EN 374-3 was carried out with the known 12 test chemicals by an independent testing institute ("notified body"). A minimum resistance of 3 test chemicals had to be achieved. These properties, together with the excellent dexterity, make the glove ideal for use in many applications.
