The day started early for us at Allprotec®️ when we woke up in our accommodation and prepared for the daily work routine as field workers. Right at the beginning, we encountered typical accommodation difficulties: the internet connection was weak and it was difficult to retrieve orders. But my mentor Jürgen kept his cool and found solutions for the necessary success.
We took part in two Microsoft team meetings, where the problems of new employees were mainly discussed. It was exciting to gain insights into their challenges and to look for solutions together. Afterwards we had a meeting on advertising measures at AAV GmbH. The discussion about marketing strategies and ideas to further advance the company and the Allprotec®️ brand was fascinating.
Due to the internet problems, we were not able to complete all the tasks, but we were not discouraged. At our field service appointment, we were warmly welcomed by the customer. We focused on the topic of hand protection and also presented a cooling vest that is particularly in demand at high temperatures. The customer showed great interest and was grateful for the professional advice.
After the customer appointment, we took a short lunch break in a snack bar. It was a pleasant opportunity to relax. Back at the accommodation, we still had open tasks before we called it a day.
Since the accommodation was close to the Baltic Sea, we took the opportunity for a walk on the beach and enjoyed the sea. It was wonderful to experience the natural beauty of the surroundings. It was one of the best internship days, because it showed that the sales force does not only consist of work, but also offers moments of balance and relaxation. So I also gained completely new impressions of Germany.
The day showed me the importance of a healthy work-life balance. An unforgettable day with an interesting customer appointment and a trip to the sea that I will always remember!
