Who doesn't know this, the first sunny days are approaching and now most people are already dreading warm and long working days. We have thought about it and put together a few experiences worth reading to make the working day a little more pleasant.

Here are a few Heat tips for particularly sunny days:

  • Drink enough water – At least 1.5 liters
      • In summer, much more!
  • Eat light foods
      • heavy food promotes the circulation too much
  • Light, airy clothing protects against heat build-up in the body
      • well-ventilated shoes (sandals) increase well-being!
  • Wear sunglasses when working in the fresh air, they protect against cataracts
  • Even if it is difficult in the heat, a hat protects against harmful UV light, the sun and skin diseases
  • Are you alone in the office? A small tub of cold water in which you dip your feet works wonders
  • In between, hold your hands under cold water more often, which refreshes and gets the circulation going
  • Avoid or reduce heavy physical work during the hot hours and interrupt it with short rest periods
  • take additional short breaks of about ten minutes and, if necessary, combine them with a stay or light activity in cooler areas

Heat tips for hot days

Physical exertion should be enjoyed with restraint, especially on warm days. But doing nothing is also the wrong way. Exercise gets the circulation going, but sport only makes sense in the morning hours or late in the evening, then the temperatures are simply more pleasant. Bicycle tours, or walks through the forest, to the lake and so on are particularly positive.
