Today we would like to give you some information about back-friendly working. "Think of me. Your back" – this was the motto of a very successful campaign by the employers' liability insurance associations.

Thinking about this can often not be prevented? Why not? Backache.  Back problems are considered the number 1 widespread disease, lumbago is one of the most common ailments of all. They occur in almost all areas of working life: from office work to steel cooking, to name just 2 extremes.  The occupational groups of street cleaners, crane operators, dispatch finishers, nursing assistants, domestic caregivers and cleaning staff (buildings, machines, glass) are particularly affected. In short, all those who have to lift heavy!

Ergonomics products for the back

Ergonomics products for the back, so-called back support belts, are another help. A study by the international Journal of Occupational and Climate Health shows that back support belt wearers complained about 26% less about acute back problems and suffered injuries than people who worked without a back support belt. By compressing the abdomen, relieving the lumbar region and ergonomically adapting to the wearer, lifting and carrying activities are ideally and sensibly supported.
