Unfortunately, my first week at AAV GmbH is already over. As a young intern, it was initially a significant change to switch from school to the office and work until late in the afternoon every day. But Jürgen, my mentor and contact person, made my tasks so varied that it never got boring.

Especially in road traffic, I became aware of how important caution and prudence are. Fortunately, Jürgen was an exemplary driver, so that dicey situations could be avoided. In my eyes, driving in the field is one of the biggest challenges.

The field service appointments were extremely diverse, as Jürgen always tailored his sales strategy to the customer. Since we visited customers from different industries, I had the opportunity to meet people with different characters and areas of responsibility. There is hardly a more varied profession.Jürgen was a great mentor who always patiently stood by my side. He answered all my questions and supported me throughout my internship. Now the weekend is coming up, in which I will rest. According to Jürgen, the coming week will be even more challenging.

The second week of my internship in the field at AAV GmbH was great. Thanks to Jürgen's help and support, I was able to learn a lot. From Monday to Wednesday, we visited various customers and I gained insight into customer care and service, as well as meeting customer needs. On Thursday I got to know different processes in the company. It was interesting to see how the different departments communicate with each other and how the work is organized. Gaining insight into internal collaboration and process optimization was extremely instructive.

We started Friday in the AAV camp. There I learned how to store and retrieve goods, how to process orders and how to carry out inventories. The warehouse impressed me with its size and the amount of goods stored. Overall, it was a great last week where I gained numerous skills and improved my field service skills. I am grateful for this experience and look forward to learning even more in the future.
