Under the motto "Zero accident, zero failure - that's no coincidence", the BGHW is launching a major campaign. The campaign bears the sonorous name #GibMirNull and has the primary goal of promoting an appreciative working atmosphere through understandable occupational health and safety and reducing both accidents and occupational diseases and reducing them to zero.

#GibMirNull – Act safely, stay healthy

The new BGHW campaign #GibMirNull sets an example for occupational safety of a special kind. This campaign is primarily not only about classic occupational safety through protective clothing, but rather about mindful and respectful interaction with each other. #GibMirNull is intended to inspire both managers and employees of a company to proactively and independently advocate for a safe and healthy workplace.

#GibMirNull – What makes the campaign so special?

In an increasingly demanding world of work, sustainable occupational safety and effective accident prevention within a company are indispensable. There are two important roles in occupational health and safety that should be considered. On the one hand, the technical measures, such as personal protective equipment, and on the other hand, the behavior and well-being of the employees among each other. The BGHW campaign #GibMirNull focuses on people from the point of view that 0 accidents happen when everyone looks out for each other - that's what makes the campaign so special.

"The focus of the campaign is on people and their behavior," explains BGHW prevention manager Dr. Klaus Schäfer. "If managers and employees in a company treat each other well and appreciatively, this also changes their own attitude to work." (Source: Press release)

#GibMirNull – The goal of the campaign

Through the increased mindfulness of each individual for his fellow human beings, a healthy working atmosphere is also created emotionally. Through this positive corporate culture, mutual consideration and appreciative cooperation, statistically speaking, the failure and accident rate is reduced. Because: Zero accident, zero failure - that is no coincidence. Those who act safely remain healthy and spared from accidents. If you then also take care of your counterpart, you increase occupational health and safety many times over.

#GibMirNull – The participatory campaign

The new BGHW campaign is based on the idea of "Zero", which is based on a working world without accidents at work, without occupational diseases and without deaths from accidents at work. It is important that the campaign is fun for the participants and encourages them to participate. That's why there is a website of the same name for the #GibMirNull campaign, where not only film and text on education can be found, but also numerous hands-on tools are offered. For example, there is a set of cards that can be used to convey various tips for a healthier and safer workplace in a playful way.

Who is the BGHW – The Employers' Liability Insurance Institution for Trade and Goods Logistics is the provider of statutory accident insurance for companies in the retail, wholesale and goods distribution sectors. With its approximately 5.3 million insured persons in up to 378,000 companies, it has a broad field for campaign distribution for more occupational safety. In this way, she wants to make the workplace not only safer, but also healthier and emotionally more pleasant and, of course, prevent costs.
