Hello dear Omniprotect team,

I would like to share with you my personal test with the size guide for safety shoes from omniprotect.de.

First of all: I have never dealt with such a thing and when I bought work shoes, I simply ordered them without questioning the size and width. If the shoes were uncomfortable, I didn't attribute it to the right fit, but to the classic "It'll break in".

I deliberately always bought a little more safety shoes, because I prefer it comfortable.
However, comfortable does not necessarily mean extra-wide work shoes, but above all precisely fitting shoes, I had to painfully realize.
The most important thing is that it is super easy to determine which size and width to buy. When I was in the Omniprotect online shop, I found the size guide for shoes there. I then took a sheet of paper as recommended in the size guide and put my foot on it and drew the outline. With a ruler or folding rule, you can then easily measure the length. For me, this resulted in 28cm, which corresponds to shoe size 44, so I was fortunately right before. Then I measured the ball of my foot, I have to admit, I didn't know how to measure it correctly. So I looked again in the Omniprotect size advisor and measured at the widest point of the foot on the ball of the foot. And only then did I realize that I don't need an extra-wide safety shoe at all, but a normal width 11.
So I picked out the right shoes for me from the large assortment and ordered them.

What can I say, I tried on the work shoes and felt comfortable right away, the shoe fits well and I don't slip around in the shoe anymore. That was by far the most important finding; the work shoe must fit well to offer the greatest safety and also to be able to be worn for a long time. This prevents accidents at work and pain in the foot, because with the long wearing time of safety shoes, nothing is more important than a correctly fitting shoe.

Accordingly, I can recommend everyone to use the size guide from Omniprotect before the next purchase of a safety shoe. Also for people who have problems with shoes that fit too tightly, the shop offers a large selection of work shoes in size 12, 13 and even 14.
